Absolutely top-class job from Joe at National Sash Window Restoration. I had a window that was in a pretty rough state — rotten wood, broken sections, and generally past its best — and Joe brought it back to life.
The attention to detail and quality of the repair is spot on, you’d honestly struggle to tell how bad it was before.
He clearly knows his craft, turned up when he said he would, and just got on with it. Proper tidy job as well, which always makes a difference.
Genuinely couldn’t recommend him enough — if you’ve got sash windows that need sorting, he’s your man.

Right from the very start, he was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, explaining the process in detail, which in itself was very reassuring when you don’t have a clue! He managed to take my rotting single-glazed sash window, barely functional (being held in the frame by a coat hanger) and brought it back to life beautifully.
The level of detail and care is second to none, restoring the original features as well as replacing items that were missing, such as the handles and lock and ensuring they were in keeping with the character of the property. Aside from the incredible craftsmanship, Joe was always on time with great communication, a very clean and tidy worker and the biggest bonus was bringing his gorgeous dog Nessa along! Would 100% recommend to anyone needing their windows done!!
